Air Canada Vacations has announced the launch of its 2020/2021 Sun Collection. The new Sun Collection is packed with exciting new additions, savings, sun-soaked fun, and its New Health and Safety Standards to make your next vacation the worry-free break you deserve.  

Air Canada Vacations’ Sun Collection offers travellers an amazing selection of packages in 42 sunny destinations, more than 700 hotels – mostly all-inclusive – 31 of which are new to the tour operator’s line up, plus three  resorts that are exclusive to Air Canada Vacations, 30 semi-exclusive resorts. Having added Cunard Line to their product line, they also have more than 100 cruises on offer.

ACV is offering offers options for short and long stays as well as enhanced program collections, including more than 150 hotels participating in the Spotlight Collection and more than 115 Play Collection resorts.

Safer travel with Air Canada Vacations

As an extension of Air Canada CleanCare+, the new health and safety standards include the enhanced grooming of vacation transfer vehicles and safety protocols throughout the travel journey for vacation packages to Sun destinations. Air Canada Vacations continues to work with its trusted hotel and cruise partners to support the implementation of the highest standards of safety and cleanliness to give customers added assurance when booking their next trip. 

On August 31, 2020, Air Canada Vacations announced that the COVID-19 Coverage and Assistance Plan, administered by Allianz Global Assistance, will be offered at no additional cost to customers booking with Air Canada Vacations. The plan is designed to cover emergency medical and quarantine expenses if COVID-19 is contracted while travelling. Aimed at providing travellers with greater confidence to book their next dream vacation, this plan will be included in all Flight & Hotel Air Canada Vacations packages to select destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean at no extra cost, as Air Canada Vacations will cover the cost of the coverage. Air Canada Vacations recently announced the launch of a new tool designed to provide travel agents with the ability to easily book Flight & Hotel packages for their customers. With flexible booking options for customers and the lowest available fares, the new user-friendly ePackages shopping tool allows travel agents to search for Flight & Hotel options across Air Canada’s extensive route network including Canada, Europe, and the United States (excluding Las Vegas). The shopping tool also provides travel agents with cabin upgrade and itinerary options. With the new ePackages tool, travel agents will earn their regular package commission amount on the land portion of the booking. Agents will also receive 300 ACV&ME points per room on ePackage bookings. The ePackages shopping tool is easily accessible to travel agents in SIREV, Sabre Vacations and Galileo Vacations. To celebrate the launch of the new ePackages tool, Air Canada Vacations is offering 1 FREE checked bag per person on all ePackage bookings.
