The Top 50 Bars in the World? Hmmm….

A website called the World’s 50 Best Bars has come up with a new list of the 50 best watering holes in the world.
London, England came out with the top choice, Connaught Bar. London had seven of the top 50 bars and three of the top 10, which is pretty amazing (and, to be honest, makes me wonder how they came up with this list).
New York City had four of the top 50 bars, all of them in the top 16.
I honestly don’t know ANY of these bars. But, hold on. A full 22% of the top 50 are from TWO CITIES – London and New York City? Really?
I don’t see anything from Chicago or Los Angeles. Nothing from Ireland. And nothing, sniff sniff, from Canada.

I’m printing this list, but I’m feeling a tad dubious about the research and methodology. That being said, I’m sure these are all worthy places to tie one on.
