Travelers moving through the Toronto Pearson International Airport are all set to experience the local taste with touch of luxury as the country’s busiest transit hub announces a major commercial expansion.

Throughout 2026, Pearson will be opening 30+ restaurants, shops, and lounge spaces across its huge terminal. This initiative blends high-end international brands with Toronto favorites as part of the broader effort to showcase Canadian culture and elevate the passenger experience.

Part of a bigger infrastructure upgrade

Toronto Pearson manages well over 40 million passengers every year and has been consistently named as the Best Large Airport in North America by the Airports Council International.

The commercial additions coincide with Toronto Pearson’s LIFT project – a multi-billion-dollar infrastructural effort that is intended to modernize the airport’s terminals and prepare for the future growth of passengers.
