MSC Euribia to Make Canary Islands Winter Debut in 2027–28

MSC Cruises is bringing one of its newest ships to the Canary Islands for winter 2027–28, replacing the ship currently assigned to the line’s popular winter-sun programme. MSC Euribia will operate seven-night cruises to the Canary Islands and Madeira, giving travellers a brand-new cruise liner experience while keeping the established itinerary in place.
The programme will enter its fourth season and will offer four departure port options, making it possible to join the cruise from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Funchal, Arrecife or Santa Cruz de La Palma. The announcement follows MSC Cruises’ continued expansion of its winter offering, including the recent debut of MSC World Asia in the cruise line’s fleet.
A familiar winter route with a new ship
The seven-night itinerary will visit Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Funchal in Madeira, Lanzarote and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, along with a day at sea.
Travellers can expect a mix of volcanic scenery, beaches, historic areas, local food and cultural attractions across the Atlantic islands. The sea day also gives guests time to enjoy the ship between destination visits.

What travellers can expect on MSC Euribia
The ship features the Galleria Euribia, an indoor promenade beneath an LED dome, along with restaurants, entertainment venues, pools and family facilities. It also has a large waterpark and the MSC Yacht Club, MSC Cruises’ ship-within-a-ship concept.
MSC Euribia is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and includes shore power connectivity, wastewater treatment, waste-management systems and energy-efficiency technologies designed to support lower-emission operations.
The winter programme also has a regional economic role, bringing cruise visitors to several island destinations and supporting local ports, tourism businesses, tour operators and transportation providers.
MSC Fantasia takes over the Mediterranean route
With MSC Euribia moving to the Canary Islands and Madeira, MSC Fantasia will take over its current seven-night Western Mediterranean programme.
The round-trip Barcelona itinerary will call at Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and La Goulette, with a day at sea and additional embarkation options along the route.
