Revelstoke Mountain Resort has officially confirmed the date, December 5th as its opening for 2026/2027 ski season.
After an extensive summer of terrain enhancements, lift improvements, and expanding the base facilities, the British Columbia ‘Powder Haven’ is all set to welcome the winter sports lovers and enthusiasts with upgraded guest programming and enhanced mountain access.
Featuring North America’s biggest vertical drop of 5,620 feet or 1,713 meters, with 3,121 acres of skiable terrain, the Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s off-season capital investments aim at streamlining the capacity of uphill while expanding its appeal for the beginner skiers as well as families.

- Progressive Terrain Management: Slope crews completed summer grooming, brush clearing, and run re-grading to allow earlier progressive openings across mid-mountain and high-alpine bowls as winter snowpack develops.
- Expanded Beginner & Family Zones: RMR upgraded its lower-mountain footprint, expanding dedicated learning terrain and refining Mountain Sports School programming to better accommodate novice skiers.
- Lift Infrastructure & Capacity: Engineering teams spent the summer season enhancing lift operations and load efficiency to accelerate transit out of the base village.
