Destinations across Canada are encouraging safe local travel with a series of programs rewarding residents for being tourists in their own town.
Luv’n the Loops Passport program invites locals and visitors to explore Kamloops’ top attractions for a chance to win seasonal prize packs. By visiting select attractions and experiences, visitors can enjoy promotional offers and collect a virtual stamp from each venue; each additional stamp scanned and added to the online passport will bring participants closer to the next prize tier. Prizes will be announced in October, January, April and July.
Toronto’s CityPASS encourages locals and visitors to see the city’s top five attractions – CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Casa Loma, Royal Ontario Museum, and Toronto Zoo or Toronto Science Centre – with 35% discount on admission. Passes purchased before February 28, 2021 receive 30 days’ extended validity.
Tourism Victoria is offering residents or visitors who book two or more consecutive nights at one of 19 partner hotels a $75 VISA Reward Card – a way to say “thank you” for choosing to reconnect in Victoria.
