Transat Addressing European Union Antitrust Concerns over Air Canada Takeover

Bloomberg – Transat AT Inc. told shareholders itās seeking to allayĀ antitrust issuesĀ pinpointed by the European Union over its takeover byĀ Air CanadaĀ and hopes to win approval by February.
The company said in aĀ letterĀ dated Nov. 12 that itās working with Air Canada āto address the concerns raisedā by theĀ European CommissionĀ in a so-called statement of objections sent late September.
