Ā GlobalNews – New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs says the province is looking to see a 70% vaccination rate before lifting travel restrictions.
āWeāre looking for like a 70% vaccination ratio,ā Higgs said.Ā āThatās going to be very dependent on the availability of vaccines.ā
Canadian authorities have suggested that perhaps 40 to 50% of Canada’s population will be vaccinated by the end of June, with full coverage by September. If Higgs sticks to his 70% number, that could make for another tricky summer for New Brunswick tourism.
