The Prime Minister of Italy today said the country is opening to visitors from Canada, the United States and Japan.
Tourism is a major economic driver in Italy, and they’re desperate for international spending.
Tourists must be vaccinated, have certification that they have recovered from the illness or have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of entering Italy, Associated Press reports.
