SeaDream Yacht Club is launching its new 2022 Mediterranean season featuring some inspiring new itineraries including two Black Sea voyages and an Eastern Mediterranean voyage with a return to Israel. SeaDream will also recreate in 2022 some of the Mediterranean voyages that were canceled in 2020 due to Covid-19.

The announcement comes as SeaDream opens for reservations 47 new Mediterranean voyages for 2022. The newly unveiled season, kicking off April 2022 through November of the same year is brimming with exciting destinations. The luxury twin mega-yachts will sail to exclusive hotspots like the picturesque island of Santorini, the historic city of Istanbul, and the paradise playground of St. Tropez.

“We will be offering a number of voyages in 2022 which were canceled in 2020,” said SeaDream’s Andreas Brynestad. “We wanted to make sure our guests will be able to enjoy the trips they have been looking forward to. We have also added two Black Sea voyages, a voyage in Israel and an Eastern Mediterranean voyage. We know people are eager to travel again and look forward to a brighter future.”

Note from Canadian Travel News Editor-in-Chief Jim Byers: I did a Caribbean cruise with SeaDream Yacht Club five years ago and thought it was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We stopped at a number of smaller destinations and ports that the big ships don’t get to, including Mayreau in the Grenadines and Iles des Saintes in Guadeloupe.

The newly announced SeaDream voyages include two voyages in the Black Sea, one in June and another in August. The Eastern Mediterranean voyage, with a stop in the city of Haifa, is scheduled for May. SeaDream’s Mediterranean voyages are unlike any other luxury travel experience. With an onboard lifestyle that exemplifies casual yachting, SeaDream sails to some of the region’s smallest ports and harbours, affording guests the opportunity to feel as if they are on their own private escape.

2022 Mediterranean highlights include:

Santorini, Greece – A picturesque island southeast of Greece, Santorini is a well-frequented stop while aboard SeaDream yachts. Recognized for its archaeological significance, Club Members can enjoy exploring the island and partake in some of the world-famous cuisine.

Haifa, Israel – SeaDream returns to ebullient Haifa, where guests can be dazzled by one of the most meticulously maintained parks in the world, the terraced Bahá’í Gardens. For exceptional views of the city and the shimmering sea, ascend further up the holy mountain aboard a cable car, alighting at an ideal lookout near the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris.

Istanbul, Turkey – Istanbul was selected as a European Capital of Culture for 2010. Historic areas of the city were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. Istanbul is a transcontinental city, straddling the Bosporus, one of the world’s busiest waterways in northwestern Turkey.

The new destinations will be accompanied by an expansive selection of new and exciting Yachting Land Adventures to ensure guests have the opportunity to experience the best each port has to offer with one-of-a-kind adventures.

The SeaDream experience is known for its personalized, award-winning service, 5-star cuisine, intimate ports and exceptional onboard features such as the Balinese Dream Beds to sleep under the stars and the Watersports Marina complete with water toys for the perfect yachting vacation.
