Marriott International has officially brought its City Express by Marriott brand to Canada with the inauguration of City Express by Marriott Port Hope, marking the brand’s first property in the country and a significant step in its North American expansion.

Located along Ontario’s Highway 401 corridor, the 91-room hotel is designed for serving both leisure and business travelers, offering convenient access to major destinations, including:

• Niagara region
• Kawarthas
• Prince Edward County
• Ottawa
• Kingston
• Toronto

This launch introduces Canadian travelers to one of Marriott’s fastest-growing hotel brands that currently operates across 160 properties in seven countries.

According to Marriott, the hotel is designed around convenience, simplicity, and affordability, catering to travelers looking for practical accommodation without sacrificing comfort.
