More Cruise Industry Trouble: U.S. Authorities Warn Against All Cruises

CNN – The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has upped its warning on cruise ships, now advising that “all people avoid travel on cruise ships.”
The federal agency now classifies cruise travel as “Level 4: Very High Level of COVID-19” and clarifies that this includes river cruises and applies worldwide.
The CDC late last month lifted its ban on cruise ships operating out U.S. ports and laid out a plan for how they could re-start. But this puts cruise ships back at square one in terms of U.S. health authorities and their recommendations.
