According to a Google trends report, the search term “can I travel” has jumped +800% in recent weeks with next-gen travellers (millennials and Gen-Z) being the most eager to get away, and 38% of them are looking for adventurous trips.
For the month of July, Contiki is seeing the same trend among Canadian next-gen travellers, as the adventure-focused destination of Iceland has become the most popular trip booked, and the top three on-site searches have been Greece, Italy and Iceland.
