Air Canada and Aeroplan are adding Gulf Air to the Aeroplan roster, giving customers more ways to earn reward points. “Gulf Air will be officially added to our growing, and world’s largest roster, of more than 40 airline travel partners,” Aeroplan officials said today. “Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, commenced operations in 1950, becoming one of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East. “Today, Gulf Air is an international carrier serving 55 cities in 30 countries with modern fleet consisting of the A320 family and the 787 Dreamliner. Gulf Air’s boutique approach offers a premium experience, particularly in Falcon Gold Business Class. “This new partnership expands Aeroplan’s presence and gives members more choice, more inventory, and a more diverse product offering when it comes to airline options serving the Middle East and South Asia. We’re also proud to be the only frequent flyer program in North America offering the opportunity to earn and redeem on Gulf Air flights.” |
