Recipe of the Day: A “Toasty Toddy” From Island Records Founder Chris Blackwell

As the cold has settled in, forget the fire, and warm up with the “Toasty Toddy.” It’s the preferred winter sip of Chris Blackwell, the Jamaican businessman who founded Island Records. For which any music fan should be eternally grateful.
Ingredients:
3 oz Blackwell Rum
1.5 oz fresh lemon juice
One dash of brown sugar
6 oz boiling water
Instructions: Pour all ingredients into a coffee mug. Add the boiling water gradually and stir well to blend.
