Spain Opens to All Canadian Visitors

July 8, 2021 ctn_admin

Following the recommendation of the European Union Council, since July 8, 2021 Spain welcomes all travellers coming from Canada without the need to show any health certificate. This means Canadians can now enter Spain regardless of having any vaccination, diagnostic or recovery certificate.

However, travellers to Spain (even those in transit) must have a QR code obtained from filling out the Health Control Form (FCS in Spanish) available at Spain Travel Health (SpTH) or through a mobile phone app (for Android or iOs devices).

You may be required to show the FCS QR code to Spanish authorities upon arrival at the airport, and to personnel from airlines and certain maritime companies before boarding.

If you are travelling in an international cruise, a specific form is required to replace the FCS (see form here).
