Athens recently hired Reach Global Marketing out of Toronto to represent the destination in Canada. It’s great to see a big city like Athens reaching out to the Canadian market. We love to travel, and I’m sure a lot of us will be heading to Greece as soon as we can.
I had the good fortune of visiting in 1989 and then again in 2004, when I was in Athens for a month to cover the Summer Olympics. It was great to spend a little time exploring the city’s neighborhoods, and we also had a wonderful day trip to the nearby idea of Hydra.
