UK lovers, rejoice.

Air Transat is resuming its direct flights between London Gatwick and Toronto tomorrow, September 15, after many months of inactivity. The company will initially be flying three times weekly between these two travel hubs and will gradually increase its service over the coming months.

Also, in order to meet the significant demand resulting from the easing of travel restrictions in both the United Kingdom and Canada, Air Transat is pleased to resume its operations to Manchester earlier than initially planned. Starting October 19, it will once again offer direct flights to this popular English metropolis from Toronto.

Finally, direct flights from Glasgow to Toronto are scheduled to resume on December 16.

Canadians make up a sizeable chunk of the UK visitor market, including family and friends trips and business travel.

London, of course, is one of the world’s great cities. Glasgow has been getting rave reviews the past few years, while Manchester is a vibrant, historic city that’s got a great music and food scene.
