April 4, 2023 ctn_admin

It’s an enviable location; the only hotel in North America located inside a major league stadium and now the Toronto City Centre Marriott is unveiling its new “Big League Menu” featuring a grand slam of over-the-top eats and cocktails available on game days and year-round.

Menu highlights include:

The 2-Foot-Long Slugger

The Sportsnet Grill Slugger’s all-beef hot dog is topped with bacon crumble, signature bacon jam, Swiss cheese, chipotle mayo and a sprinkle of spring onions. Guests are invited to eat it on their own as part of their ‘Slugger Challenge’ or enjoy it with friends.

Beast Mode Burger

Layers upon layers of beef patty, BBQ brisket, Nashville chicken, crisp bacon, chipotle mayo and loaded with cheese, decked on a bed of lettuce and tomato. Served with your choice of fries or green salad.

Load ‘Em Up Bucket Nachos

Make home plate look small with Sportsnet Grill’s bucket nachos. Cheddar & mozzarella, pico de gallo, black turtle beans, jalapeños, cilantro, cheddar cheese sauce and spicy cream drizzle. Accompanied with sour cream & salsa.

Triple Play Sundae

The Triple Play Sundae is the ultimate indulgence for the young and young at heart. This decadent treat is served in a miniature Blue Jays cap (and special keepsake!) and features chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream, Kit Kat, Ferrero Rocher, Cracker Jack, M&M’s, mini-Oreos, chocolate sauce, strawberry drizzle, candy floss and rainbow sprinkles.

New Cocktails:

The Bluebird

Exclusive to the Marriott City Centre Skyboxes is The Bluebird. Served in a custom bird shaped glass, this nod to the home team features blue Curaçao, vodka and lemonade.

Cracker Jack Cocktail

Well, it’s root, root, root for the home team with this special cocktail made from Irish Whiskey, Amaretto, butter ripple, ginger ale and topped with Cracker Jacks. Can you think of anything better to take you out to the ballgame?

Cloud 9

Inspired by the popular ballpark treat and prepared table-side, a swirl of cotton candy melts down when mixed with Cointreau and Prosecco.

The hotel’s unique offerings include in-stadium open-air Skyboxes that can accommodate 25-30 guests, including 18 seated; exceptional “in action” field-view rooms and suites so guests can take in the sights and sounds of the game below; Sportsnet Grill, located just inside the main entrance of the hotel, offers one of the city’s best restaurant and bar experiences with live field action, multiple big screen televisions, and a menu featuring grand slam food including the 2′ long Slugger dog with gourmet toppings; and for those seeking a more exclusive experience, Legends Lounge boasts a panoramic view of the Rogers Centre, making it the perfect spot for private events.
