Airbnb has seen that Canadians are booking longer stays (2+ week trips) in small-to-mid-size cities where there’s access to immersive natural surroundings and wide open spaces.

When looking ahead to 2021, Canadians are feeling hopeful when it comes to planning for travel. According to a survey conducted by Airbnb, 36% of respondents say they daydream about travel daily or more, increasing to 47% among people who work from home.
